Welcome to tiny cook and kitchen!
At heart, this blog is about me cooking the foods I love to eat. Not content with food bombing on Instagram, I wanted to capture my obsession a bit more constructively, and so this blog was born.
It features staple recipes as well as my take on some of the classics. I love experimenting with new ingredients and flavour pairings and I’ll also be attempting to do justice to my mum’s traditional Vietnamese recipes.
My little East London flat has room enough to house a chilli plant and a bunch of mint on the balcony but I’m lucky enough to get baskets of home grown goodies from the in-law’s allotment in Sussex – always very exciting! For me, there is nothing more satisfying than cooking with home grown produce – I love the challenge of making it the star ingredient of the dish.
I’m having a lot of fun with this blog and hope you enjoy reading it too.
